Join us on December 5th from 6-7pm for our 3rd Annual Christmas Tree Lighting. There will be a special visit from Santa Claus too.

The Village of Essex is serving Hot Dogs, Chips and Juice at the Village Hall on Halloween from 6:30pm to 9pm we hope to see you there.

If you live on East Street and your garbage was not collected on 10/23/25 , the garbage truck will be back tomorrow. Due to construction in your area, they were unable to collect. Any questions regarding garbage pickup please contact: Homewood Disposal Service​   708-798-1004 ​

The Village of Essex is now accepting sealed bids for snow removal for the 2025-2026 season. Sealed bids will be accepted until 5 PM Thursday, November 6th, 2025.
